A typical day's schedule with H2O Guides...
As you awake your first morning in Valdez, enjoy views of the surrounding snow capped Chugach peaks and the Valdez waterfront. A warm continental breakfast is provided to get your day started. Make sure your bag is packed with your ski and safety gear, then pick up your sack lunch and fill your new H2O Guides stainless steel water bottle. Guides will be discussing the day's itinerary in the lobby and a daily logistics display board will detail your day's helicopter pairings. By 9 am you will be on the way to Thompson Pass to claim your seat aboard the helicopter and soar over Alaska's Chugach range.
Your day will feature 6 runs of more than 20,000 vertical feet and expansive views of cragged peaks, hidden glaciers, and beautiful Prince William Sound. Your guide will lead you to runs that challege your technical abilities while also discussing decision making in big mountain terrain.
Come nightfall you will be headed back to the hotel for a warm shower and the chance to relax and relive the day's fun. Three days of the week we will provide a catered dinner. On other days you can take advantage of a number of restaurants and watering holes around the town of Valdez. Tomorrow be prepared for another day of epic runs.

Weather Down Days
In the event that weather makes flying conditions poor, we have a number of down day activities ready to help you explore Valdez and the surrounding Prince William Sound. This place is truly a playground and numerous adventures can be had even on no fly days. Our run rollover policy will allow you to make up some lost ski time on days with better weather. Note that a large portion of our terrain resides outside the major wind corridors allowing us to ski excellent snow even if the wind blows.
